Shortland leads Cantor Fitzgerald Europe

Andrew Shortland has been promoted to CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald Europe.

Shortland has been EMEA head of equities at the firm since 2022, a role he will maintain.

Cantor Fitzgerald Europe reported approximately US$6 million in total comprehensive income for 2024, according to Companies House filings.

Last August, Tony Nash was appointed co-head of EMEA portfolio and electronic trading.

Shortland has more than 35 years of industry experience, including nine years at Jefferies as head of international equities and 16 years as head of international equity trading at Bear Stearns.
