Jamie Hartley has been promoted to managing director and global head of capital markets at DWS Group.
Based in London, he reports to head of DWS’s ETF business Xtrackers Investments, Julien Boulliat.
At the end of 2025, German asset manager DWS Group reported €1 trillion in assets under management. Xtrackers reported £260 billion (€229 billion) in assets under management.
Hartley has 15 years of industry experience and has been with DWS Group since 2019, joining the company as a senior ETF capital markets specialist. He became European head of capital markets in 2022, before being named regional head of capital markets for Europe and Asia in 2024.
Earlier in his career, Hartley was an ETF trader and vice president at Deutsche Bank.
