Bryan Blake has joined CIBC Capital Markets as a managing director and head of global low-touch execution in Toronto.
CIBC Capital Markets reported US$877 million in net income over Q1 2026, up 42% year-on-year.
Blake has more than 25 years of industry experience and has been vice president and head of Canadian equities at Cboe Global Markets since 2020.
The exchange group recently sold its Canadian and Australian operations to TMX Group

Earlier in his career, Blake was CEO of equity alternative trading system TriAct Canada Marketplace (acquired by Cboe Global Markets in 2020) and held senior roles at BofA Merrill Lynch, TMX Group and Citi.
