Blankenship leaves BNP Paribas for State Street

Benjamin Blankenship has joined State Street as a vice president and equity swap trader in New York.

As part of the prime services trading team, he reports to managing director and North America head of prime services trading Ronald Meise.

State Street reported US$3.7 billion in total revenues in its 2025 annual report, up 7% year-on-year.

Earlier this year, Yusuf Nurbhai was named UK head of markets at the bank.

Blankenship has 15 years of industry experience and joins State Street from BNP Paribas, where he has been a global markets vice president since 2020. He held the same role at Deutsche Bank from 2016.
