Exegy adds Deribit to its trading platform on the back of increased institutional interest in crypto derivatives

Front-office trading solutions provider Exegy has added crypto options exchange Deribit to its covered crypto derivatives markets trading platform.

Crypto traders will now be able to utilise Exegy’s Metro’s pricing, execution and risk management capabilities on the Deribit exchange.

Robert Kallay, director of automated trading solutions, Exegy

Exegy’s director of automated trading solutions Robert Kallay said Metro clients can utilise Deribit’s crypto options and futures real-time book data and implied volatility surfaces, before executing trades on Deribit directly via Metro.

The move is designed to apply the same functionality deployed on traditional derivatives exchanges to the crypto options markets, Exegy CEO David Taylor said.

Metro now has trading capability for three exchanges listing crypto derivatives – Deribit, CME and Ledger X.

“We will continue to add new cryptocurrency exchanges as institutional interest in crypto derivatives grows,” Taylor said.
