FlexTrade’s Spark EMS integrates with SIX to stream real-time market data

The recently rebranded cloud EMS solution will allow traders to access and stream real-time global market data across multiple outputs.

FlexTrade Systems has joined forces with SIX to integrate global real-time market pricing and reference data from the global financial information provider into its Spark cloud-based EMS solution.

Traders using Spark can now access and stream real-time global market data across multiple outputs including desktop, browser and API. The new offering combines SIX API with the one-click deployment of Spark to provide an off-the-shelf trading solution that the firms claim will help to reduce time-to-market for new fund launches.

“SIX API has been developed to meet the challenges of an evolving marketplace, with flexible commercial models, and is part of our investment in a strategic technology program,” said Shai Popat, head of product and commercial strategy, financial information at SIX.

“The close partnership we have developed with FlexTrade enables us to meet market demands quickly, ultimately benefiting our mutual clients.”

The latest integration with SIX is now ready for client deployment, according to Adi Prnjavorac, general manager of Spark EMS, who added: “We are delighted to announce SIX as the latest partner offering available within the Spark ecosystem. Delivering choice to our clients and prospects with out-of-the-box integrations to a selection of market-leading propositions, such as SIX, is at the heart of the Spark EMS offering. It ensures our clients can reduce time to market when new business requirements arise, delivering a competitive edge.”

FlexTrade, which specialises in EMS and OMS solutions, in April rebranded its FlexNOW offering to become Spark, a multi-asset EMS built for the cloud. The solution was developed as a one-click installation with same-day onboarding for traders, brokers and algos, while remainnig broker neutral on its FlexLINK FIX Network.

The rebrand solidified the Spark team’s focus on cloud-based innovation, although the brand remains part of the wider group. ‘’Our rebranding exercise will not have any impact on our day-to-day business,” said Prnjavorac.

“We will stay under the FlexTrade umbrella where we are able to continue developing new features for our Spark community which has been growing significantly since we started this project in 2019. Our main focus is to deliver a platform with no compromise to power and performance.’’
