The new hire has been with the firm for her entire five-year career, working as an equity trader for the past two years before being promoted to her new role in December 2023.Â
Lara Jacobs, who first joined Liquidnet in June 2018 as a summer intern – the same year she finished her degree – has within five years been promoted to head of international client trading EMEA at the firm.
Apart from a brief internship with M&G investments on the debt restructuring team, Jacobs has spent her entire career to date with Liquidnet, joining as a market structure analyst upon graduation before moving into equities trading in July 2020. The latest promotion makes her the head of international client trading for EMEA.
