Benjamin Hatava has been promoted to product manager for equity derivatives at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
Based in Sydney, he is responsible for product development, client engagement and market structure.
The Australian exchange landscape is currently in flux. ASX remains the largest exchange in the country, but changing ownership and new regulatory approvals for others in the region, alongside regulatory scandal for the giant, have unsettled the status quo.

Hatava joined ASX as an analyst for equity capital markets in 2021, becoming a senior analyst for equity derivatives in 2022. Prior to this, he was a structured product sales and trading analyst at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Bank.
