Peter Herrlin has been named global head of hedge fund services at BNP Paribas Securities Services. He is based in London.
In the role, Herrlin is responsible for the hedge fund services client line and client delivery teams globally, and manages the risk profile and business operating models of the hedge fund services business.
BNP Paribas reported €4.5 billion in corporate and investment banking revenues across Q3 2025, up 4.5% year-on-year. It attributed growth in the FICC division to securities lending and credit activities.
Herrlin has more than 30 years of industry experience and joins BNP Paribas from Northern Trust where he has been head of capital markets client solutions for EMEA since 2022. Prior to this, he spent almost a decade at SEC as head of financial institutions coverage for the UK and global head of hedge fund coverage.
Earlier in his career, Herrlin was head of UK hedge fund sales at Danske Bank.
