Berenberg has promoted Peter Kraus to head of portfolio management for equities.
Based in Switzerland, Kraus has been head of small cap equities at the firm since 2017.
According to its 2024 annual report, Berenberg held €39 billion in assets under management and generated €82 million in net profits for the year – year-on-year increases of 3% and 49% respectively.
Nicky Brambleby, global liquidity manager, leads trading approaches at the firm.
Kraus has 25 years of industry experience, having spent more than a decade as a portfolio manager at Allianz Global Investors before joining Berenberg. Prior to this, he was a research manager at German advisor Deka Investment.
