Pratt shifts roles at Jefferies

Charles Pratt has been promoted at Jefferies, becoming a CEEMEA equities trader and relocating from New York to Dubai.

Jefferies reported US$558 million in equities revenues over the three months ending 28 February, up 37% year-on-year.

Earlier this year, Gregorio Esmelian joined the bank as an equities sales trader in Madrid.

Pratt joined Jefferies in 2019 and an emerging markets and events-driven equities trading in London, before being named vice president of international equities (Asia) in 2024.

Earlier in his career, Pratt was a Tesla product specialist in Sydney.
