Liz Hocker, the regional head of capital markets who launched NYSE Texas last year, has been appointed global head of listings at upstart competitor Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE).
Greg Ferrari, former head of North American exchange trading at Nasdaq, has joined TXSE as chief operating officer.
TXSE is expected to launch later this year. In July last year, the exchange onboarded the SEC’s former head of trading and markets.

Hocker has 20 years of industry experience, and was managing director of new listings and capital markets for the Southwest US at Nasdaq for almost five years at Nasdaq before she moved to NYSE in 2024.
Ferrari has been with Nasdaq for more than 15 years, in roles including managing director of transaction services and head of US options. Earlier in his career, he was part of the business development of the International Securities Exchange and vice president of electronic trading at Bank of America Securities.
